Holiday

An old-fashioned Australian beach holiday goes gloriously wrong in a camp, colourful video for Kate Miller-Heidke’s single.

01 About

John Sheedy’s video for Kate Miller-Heidke’s single “Holiday” turns a song about self-sabotaged holidays into a colourful ensemble piece about the awkward, chaotic spirit of an old-school Aussie beach trip: potato scallops, disappointing beach days and mosquito bites. Drag stars Serenity and Lazy Susan, winner of season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, lead the cast — with a camp nod to Muriel’s Wedding, whose stage musical Miller-Heidke co-wrote.
