01 Synopsis

Summer, 1986. Penny Lane has been accepted into university, and she’s celebrating at a beach house with her best friends Toni and Amy. Then the uninvited guests arrive: her jealous cousin with a tray of spiked cupcakes, and the recently released boyfriend and menacing friends she has invited along. A cruel prank goes wrong, and the party descends into mayhem and violence. Mia’kate Russell’s feature debut is a gleefully gory reverse home-invasion thriller led by three fierce young women.
